On the one hand, I don’t obsess about the number but I can appreciate how my clothes fit, or how I look in the mirror. Considering I’m focusing on building muscle as much as losing weight, the numbers aren’t as important.
Buuuuut it’s really frustrating to not be able to get a quantitative idea of how much progress I’ve made. I have a routine doctor’s appointment next week and it will be the first time I’ll check my weight in almost three months -.-
I know healthy is a lifestyle and not a sprint to what you want to look like, but I just love bad food much :(
Today on my way to my 8am in the frrreeezzing cold, I caved and bought a croissant au beurre which was fresh outta the oven as I walked into the boulangerie. SO motherfucking worth the extra minutes I’ll have to run to work it off.
I just have to remember treats sometimes are fine. It’s the first time I’ve strayed off my healthy diet in over a month so all in all, it’s not that bad.
